S’more Fun in the Winter

In the Northeast, we are often stuck indoors during the long winter months,  constantly searching for new activities to keep our families busy. On one  especially cold and snowy day, I decided to use our Endless Summer fire pit  and HERSHEY’S S’mores Caddy to turn a traditionally summertime activity  into some wintry fun!

We started by loading up our S’mores Caddy with all of our ingredients:

  1. Graham Crackers
  2. Marshmallows
  3. HERSHEY’s Chocolate Bars
  4. Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

It had plenty of space and storage compartments to fit everything we needed.

Don’t forget the HERSHEY’S S’mores Glow-In-The-Dark Extendable Cooking Forks!

We went outside and lit up our fire pit. No need to worry about digging wood out of  the snow when you have a gas fire pit. With a simple push and turn ignition, we were  instantly set up to make our s’mores over a beautiful, warm fire.

Our Extendable Cooking Forks were perfect for keeping little hands away from the  hot flames.

For a different take on traditional s’mores, try replacing the HERSHEY’s Chocolate  Bars with Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups – delicious!

S'Mores with Reese's

If you’d like to get a little crafty and extend the fun, you can make some simple  snowman s’mores! Just layer them like regular s’mores: graham cracker;  HERSHEY’s Chocolate Bar; marshmallow; and then use a tube of icing with a tip  attachment to add the details. Simple and cute, and the kids will love them!

Later that evening, we went out to build a real snowman. We decided that he would  be our s’mores buddy, so we used Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups for his eyes  and nose, and HERSHEY’s Chocolate Bars for his mouth.

We added Extendable Cooking Forks for arms so that he could toast marshmallows  along with us. The s’more making fun continued into the evening and we created  some cute winter memories!
